SUMMARY:MAP Growth Testing 9/10 through 9/19
DESCRIPTION:MAP Growth Testing: \n\nTwo to three times per year\, we administer MAP Growth Testing to our students with the goal of assessing both individual student performance and the effectiveness of our curriculum. The tests adjust to each child’s performance measuring their growth over time. MAP Growth is developed by the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA). A forty-five minute reading and math test will be administered to first through eighth grade students September 10 – September 19. The test is given on the computer and the questions dynamically adjust based on each student’s responses. We will use the assessments to pinpoint specific instructional areas appropriate for each student. We are confident that the data provided will help support appropriate differentiation in the classroom. Please make every effort to have your child in attendance.
