Homeschool Student Policy
Grace Episcopal Day School welcomes students who are being homeschooled and offers the opportunity to attend certain classes offered by the school. Students who are enrolled for a minimum of one class are eligible to participate in Grace Episcopal Day School’s after school programs. Families are encouraged to participate and become active in the school community.
Home school students who wish to attend Grace Episcopal Day School for particular classes must meet the enrollment requirements at the school. All health and immunization forms must be complete along with any other required school documents. Records from schools previously attended and/or home school documents and portfolios signed by a certified teacher are required. Prospective students will participate in admissions testing and will be charged associated application and enrollment fees.
Tuition will be assessed on a prorated basis depending on the number of classes the student attends. The family will be required to sign a contract for the year for the designated classes and will be responsible for payment for the full academic school year as stated in the school’s enrollment contract. Homeschool families will be billed at the beginning of each academic quarter and will be assessed a late fee if payment is not received by the 10th day of the quarter.
Availability of each subject will be based on a class’ yearly schedule which should be available during the middle of the summer.
All students are expected to meet the ethical and behavior standards of Grace Episcopal Day School. While on campus, students are expected to follow the rules in the Family Handbook, including the dress code. Students will be invited to accompany the class on field trips as long as associated fees are paid.
